WHAT IS THE LIGHT TOUCH THERAPY ?
The Light Touch Therapy is a relaxing, nurturing, heart-centered energy therapy that uses gentle, intentional touch that assists in balancing physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being
As a technique, is belongs to the healing Touch Practice, classified by the National Institutes of Health as a biofield therapy and nursing intervention, and may be used to address the North American Nursing Diagnosis Association (NANDA-1) diagnosis of “Imbalanced Energy Field.”
It is safe for all ages and may be integrated with standard medical care.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING A
LIGHT TOUCH THERAPY SESSION?
The first session involves a consultation in addition to the Healing Touch session.
I like to do face to face consultations but this pre session consultation can also be done over the phone or video call.
I will ask a series of questions about your physical, mental, and emotional situation to define your wellbeing goals . The session itself typically last between 20 and 30 minutes.
Then you sit down fully clothed (but I recommend wearing comfortable clothes, and a sleeveless top / sport bra to access the upper body)on a massage table while I’ll gently place my hands on you shoulders, neck, head, upper back, arms and/or hands. I work almost exclusively on the upper body. Hence why my clients don’t need to lie down or get undressed. It’s a particularly comfortable setting, and even the most ‘massage reluctant ‘ can feel at ease.
My clients report feeling deeply relaxed and peaceful during and after the session, though some recipients report feeling lightheaded, thirsty, or increasingly emotional after completing a session. It is completely normal and these feeling generally subside rapidly.
Because there may be a cumulative effect of using Light Touch Therapy over time, regular sessions are recommended.
